Christmas 2016

Christmas Cookery 7-12-16

We went to the cookery room to make biscuits.  We weighed and measured, sieved ingredients, mixed, kneaded and rolled out dough as we made our biscuits.

Later when they were cool enough we mixed icing, iced them, and finally decorated them with silver balls.

Then the best bit as we took them home to eat!  Please click here to see the photographs.

Christmas Craft Afternoon 6-12-16

We invited parents to join us for the afternoon to make Christmas crafts.   We had made some salt dough Christmas tree decorations which needed glue and glitter adding.  Then there were paper chains and angels to cut out and stick together.

We shared Christmas stories and played Christmas games, such as this Christmas pairs games.  Please click here to see the photographs.

Visit to see Santa 1-12-16

On 1st December we went in the minibus to Baytree Garden Centre.  When we got there we went through the grotto to see a very special person … Santa!

The grotto was beautiful with lots of things to see as we went along.  We even had a ride on a train!

Santa gave us a present each and a tiny Christmas tree of our very own.

After seeing Santa we went to say hello to the reindeer before coming back to school.  Please click here to see the photographs.
