Uniform

Don't forget we also have some pre-loved uniform on display in our foyer.  If you can't find the sizes you are looking for, please just ask, and we will do our best to help.

At Terrington St Clement Community School, we believe a uniform looks smart, wears well and contributes to the feeling of belonging to the school community. Coming to school in school uniform fosters pride in the school and helps establish the correct attitude to school work. The school uniform is as follows:

Winter Summer
  • Navy or grey tailored school trousers, culottes or shorts
  • Navy or grey skirt, pinafore
  • White polo shirt or white school shirt/blouse
  • Navy sweatshirt or cardigan
  • White, navy, grey or black socks
  • Black low heeled school shoes (training shoes are not to be worn for school except on PE days)

As per winter uniform. 

In addition:

  • Navy or yellow gingham school dress/ shorts playsuit
  • Flat heeled black or white sandals (preferably with closed in toes for safety.  These must be worn with socks.)

PE Kit:

To be kept in school in a named PE bag.

  • Plain white T-shirt with or without school logo
  • Plain navy blue shorts/skorts
  • Warm outer clothing such as sweatshirt and jogging bottoms (navy, black or dark grey)
  • Training shoes/Plimsolls (black or white)

There are no restrictions regarding coats.

Please note the following restrictions: 

  • Only one pair of small studs to be worn in the ears. Children will be asked to remove extra ‘rings’. These will be placed in an envelope and sent home with the child.
  • Children will always be asked to remove earrings and watches for PE. If your child cannot remove his / her own earrings, please remove them before they come to school on PE day. 
  • No jewellery to be worn except a wristwatch. The school accepts no responsibility if these are lost.
